Rebekah Baer
Owner, Rebekah Baer, loves to bake her made from scratch recipes. A Tazewell County native, she has been crafting magic since childhood in her mother’s kitchen. A combustion between a love for chemistry, and the inability to remain sedentary, fueled the passion for The Baking Baer. She has been honored with first place in Eli’s Cheesecake’s annual recipe contest two years in a row, and is delighted to be bringing original creations to central Illinois.
Brooke Nafziger
Brooke brings the energy, along with talented artistic skills. She loves decorating, whether it's cakes, cupcakes, cookies or cake balls. She's constantly bringing new ideas and decorating techniques to the table, and is always happy to serve with a smile.
Kierra Riggenbach
Kierra is my cheesecake queen. Mastering the art of baking them in no time, she cranks out a portion of them weekly. She enjoys all aspects of the job, but especially the testing of products to ensure their quality.
Adelle Baker
Adelle has been with The Baking Baer since near the beginning. Despite being away at college in Indiana, she still finds time during the summer and holiday breaks to help out at the shop. When she's around you can catch her doing anything from working food truck events, to production at the kitchen, training new staff, or managing marketing and promotional items. We're always happy to have her around.
